Heavy Duty 8" Inch Compton Hasp and Staple Zinc Plated

This very heavy duty Compton Pattern 149 security hasp and staple is manufactured from 3.5mm thick steel and finished in a bright zinc plate to help prevent corrosion. The overall length is 200mm with a 44mm width, the hasp fixing plate length from the end to the 17mm diameter knuckle is 115mm. The staple is 65mm long by 44mm wide, the staple diameter is 9.5mm, with a maximum projection of 35mm and will accept shackles up to 18mm in diameter.

The hasp is ideal for very heavy duty applications and can provide a very good level of security, it features four countersunk holes for screws and a central 8mm square hole for a coach-bolt. The hasp conceals the staple fixings when closed. Fixings are not supplied.
