14" Heavy Duty Cranked Crook & Band Hinge Galvanised

This 14 inch lift off cranked strap hinge is a heavy duty pattern 1056 hinge ideal for use on gates, outbuilding doors, and utility doors. The hot spelter dipped galvanised finish will prevent corrosion for many years, and can be over-painted using and etching primer if required.

This cranked hook & band hinge is manufactured from 5mm thick by 38mm (1.1/2") wide strap with an overall length of 356mm, and approximately 14 inches to the centre of the locating socket. The hook features a 12.5mm (1/2") diameter gudgeon pin with a projection of 55mm, the back plate is 38mm x 135mm long.

The necked band when mounted on the gudgeon pin will have an overall length of 365mm and will be flush with the mounting position on the gate post or frame. If all the mounting pins are up the gate or door can be lifted off, installing with one pin down will prevent removal.
