18" Very Heavy Duty Strap Hinge Galvanised

This 18 inch hinge is a heavy duty hinge that features a hot spelter dipped galvanised finish that will prevent corrosion for many years, and can be over-painted using and etching primer if required.

Reversible strap hinges are ideal for garage doors, gates, and utility doors, these hinges will hang the door or gate flush with the door frame or gate post when shut.

This 457mm hinge is manufactured from 5mm thick steel, the strap is 50mm (2") wide with an overall length of 47cm, and 18 inches to the centre of the pintle (mounting pin). The gudgeon's (mounting sockets) are 65mm wide by 67mm high.

This 127 pattern 18 inch hinge is supplied in single units and will require suitable fixings such as:
