The 85mm Belfast kitchen sink waste kit suits a number of porcelain, Belfast, Butler, or farmhouse style sinks with a base thickness of 45-70mm, and with an integrated wear overflow system. Featuring an 85mm diameter flange with a bolt through fixing to the underside cup, and a chrome plated plastic plug with handle.

This ceramic kitchen sink waste kit is suited to standard 1.1/2" plumbing waste coupling, and for ceramic sinks with a 50-70mm outlet. The top seal is achieved with the foam gasket, and a rubber gasket seals the underside of the cup.
How To Fit The Belfast Sink Waste
Installation, the centrepin fixing screw does not require to be cut down, and should only be hand tight using a slotted screwdriver, a small bead of silicone should be applied to the underside of the flange, and leave it to set for 20 minutes prior to assembly, remove any excess silicone ASAP once installation is complete.
the overflow grid is threaded to suit the the pipe connector and only needs to be hand tight. The pipe is a simple push fit that connects to the sink waste, a pair of pliers may be required to clamp the chain to the overflow and plug, but many plumbers will do this last step with their dense leathery hands!
