4" Inch CE13 Ball Bearing Hinge Brushed Satin Stainless Steel

This premium UK quality 102mm ball-bearing hinge features a silver brushed satin stainless steel finish with a double ball bearing action to provide a smoother function and high durability. This 4" door hinge is ideal for heavy duty or fire door applications where a door and its hardware must meet CE13 regulations.

This satin silver hinge is manufactured from stainless steel the leaves are 3mm thick and measure 4" (102mm) long by 3" (76mm) wide when fully open, the knuckle diameter is 14mm. This brushed stainless steel fire door hinge is supplied in single units complete with screws.

In order to fully comply with BS EN 1935:2002 a minimum of 3 hinges must be fitted to a fire door and intumescent pads fitted behind the hinge leaves.

To protect the finish of this satin silver ball bearing hinge an occasional clean with a spray polish is recommended. We would also advise that once a year hinges are treated with a WD40 type oil, this will extend the working life of the hinge. After initial installation and subsequent oiling there may be slight oil seepage which should be cleaned off immediately with a dry cloth.
