36 Inch long 20mm Bristle Brush Strip Draught Excluder In Silver

This 914mm long brush strip draft excluder features 20mm bristles mounted in a silver anodised aluminium track, providing a 18mm brush projection from the bottom of the 16mm high carrier. This brush strip draught excluder is ideal for all doors in domestic, commercial and industrial applications, it will help prevent draughts, reduce the transmission of sound, and prevent leaves and other debris from entering the building.

This 3 foot brush strip draft excluder can be cut to size if required and installed on all doors up to 36" wide. The draft excluder is easy to install using only a screwdriver, drill and hacksaw for cutting to size.

Aluminium brush strip installation instructions:
• Measure the width of the door in the closed position.
• Disassemble the two components of the brush strip by sliding out the bristle holder.
• Cut the aluminium carrier with a hacksaw, and file the end smooth. Cut the bristle holder with side cutting pliers to ensure the bristles are retained in the holder.
• Give a slight bend to to retain the bristle holder once refitted into the aluminium carrier.
• Screw the carrier to the door, and allow sufficient slack to adjust so the bristles firmly stroke the floor covering.
• Once you are satisfied the brush strip is in the correct position, tighten the screws and refit the cover.
