Polished Chrome Telescopic Letter Plate

This superior quality polished chrome telescopic letter plate features a colour coded frame in a bright polished chrome finish is manufactured from die-cast metal with sprung loaded external and internal 180 degree flaps. The outside flap is sealed with a neoprene gasket that prevents weather ingress, stops draughts, and reduces the transmission of sound. The interior flap features neoprene rubber cushioning dampeners, and an additional set of brush strips enhance the sound draught proofing capabilities.

This premium quality polished chrome letter plate is suitable for fire door applications up to FD60 when installed with intumescent strips, having passed a Warrington Fire Test (WF Report No. 165855) when installed within a section of timber based door leaf, tested to BS 476-22:1987.

Fab Fix Polished Chrome Letter Plate

Fab Fix polished chrome letter plates are 308mm wide 76mm high with an aperture size of 257mm x 35mm and require a minimum cut out size of 260mm x 45mm (cut-out area is central to the letter plate), the sleeve is suitable for door between 40-75mm, the sleeve can be cut down to suit panelling from 18mm thick. The screw fixing centres are 270mm and require 8-10mm mounting holes. NB fixing bolts required may need cutting down to suit the thickness of the door.
