Our exterior mortice & tenon York hardwood doors feature an iconic raised and fielded ornate panel design with traditional Ovolo beading, reminiscent of the Georgian era. The subtle swept head design softens the appearance, and the generous midrail provides ample space for letter plates. The small glazing aperture allows a modest amount of natural light without compromising on your privacy or security, making them the perfect partner for traditional homes and properties.

York M&T Glazed Doors

This range of York glazed doors manufactured with premium quality engineered hardwood components for performance and durability, and over veneered with the finest crown-cut meranti timber veneers for a premium finish. The wedged mortice & tenon (M&T) construction provides maximum strength and stability, with 12mm lippings that allow up to 8mm of trim per edge. Hardwood doors are only suitable for a solvent-based paint system finish, in either your choice of colour, or the solvent-based Sikkens Cetol high-build wood stain to display the natural wood-grain appearance. However you choose to finish your doors, please ensure they are fully finished prior to installation and refer to our Door Handling & Finishing Guidelines.

York Hardwood Doors

York hardwood doors are available off-the-shelf unglazed for those in a hurry, or pre-glazed in our factory with your choice of clear or obscure textured toughened safety glass. Please allow a minimum of 4–6 weeks for manufacture and delivery, Bespoke decorative glazing, and camming (leaded-lights) is also a possibility in this door range, please contact us for further details.
