KXT Pattern is the timeless traditional door design with six glazing apertures, that admits an abundance of natural light. KXT is an acronym and sometimes called EKXT (Exterior Keyed Cross Tenon). Hemlock timber features a straight grain, clear of knots, easy to work, and contributes to a high quality finish. Hemlock KXT doors with six lights and will brighten your interior with plenty of natural light. These exterior doors feature a 3 bottom flat panels with traditional Ovolo beading, and the six-light design works with traditional and period properties, as well as modern homes.

We manufacture this range of KXT doors from premium quality hemlock softwood with engineered timber components for performance and stability. The sturdy glued and dowelled stub-mortise & tenon construction provides maximum trim-ability, and are ideal for a solvent-based paint system finish in your choice of colour, or why not show off the natural grain appearance with the solvent-based Sikkens Cetol high-build wood stain. Whichever way you choose to finish your KXT doors, please ensure the doors are fully finished prior to installation and refer to our Door Handling & Finishing Guidelines.

Hemlock KXT Doors

Hemlock KXT doors are available unglazed with a fast delivery for those in a hurry, or pre-glazed in our factory in your choice of clear or obscure textured toughened safety glass, but please allow a minimum of 4–6 weeks for manufacture and delivery. Bespoke decorative glazing is also a possibility in the hemlock KXT door range, please contact us for details.

Function, kerb appeal, and your budget are all taken care of with the range of hemlock 6-light doors, in a range of sizes from 30 x 78 inches (762 x 1981mm) to 33 x 78 inches (838 x 1981mm) suitable for the majority of standard door frames. Hemlock 6-light doors provide an abundance of natural light, and the double glazing prevents condensation and improved thermal performance when installed with our range of draught excluders.
