2XGG Pattern is the timeless traditional door design that admits an abundance of natural light. 2XGG is an acronym for '2 x glass over glass'. Hemlock timber is renowned for being easy to work with, free from knots straight grain. Hemlock 2XGG doors are a cost-effective choice and will bring your outside closer to your inside space. These exterior doors feature traditional Ovolo glazing beads, and the two-light design works with all types of properties.

2XGG Hemlock Doors

We manufacture this range of 2XGG doors from premium quality hemlock softwood with engineered timber components for performance and stability. The glued and dowelled stub-mortise & tenon construction offers maximum trim-ability and are ideal for a solvent-based paint system finish in your choice of colour, or why not show off the natural grain appearance with the solvent-based Sikkens Cetol high-build wood stain. Whichever way you choose to finish your 2XGG doors, please ensure the doors are fully finished prior to installation and refer to our Door Handling & Finishing Guidelines.

Hemlock 2XGG Doors

Hemlock 2XGG doors are available unglazed with a fast delivery for those in a hurry, or pre-glazed in our factory in your choice of clear or obscure textured toughened safety glass, but please allow a minimum of 4–6 weeks for manufacture and delivery. Bespoke decorative glazing is also a possibility in the hemlock 2XGG door range, please contact us for details.

Function, kerb appeal, and your budget are all taken care of with the range of hemlock 2-light doors, in a range of sizes from 30 x 78 inches (762 x 1981mm) to 33 x 78 inches (838 x 1981mm) suitable for the majority of standard door frames. Hemlock 2-light doors provide an abundance of natural light, and the double glazing prevents condensation and improved thermal performance when installed with our range of draught excluders.
